What the role unlocks

🥖 The bakery & apothecary

A whole game inside our Discord, and the 🍺 Tavern Regular role is the key to the door. Pebble hands you a hearth stone, a mortar and pestle, and a windowsill to sell from.

  • Buy your ingredients at the market — flour, butter and honey on one stall, sixty-odd herbs, roots and mushrooms on the others. Prices move day to day.
  • Make something — 39 recipes across five ranks, from a barley loaf or a cup of chamomile to a coronation cake and the tavern theriac.
  • Sell it while you sleep — your counter keeps trading whether you're online or not. Set your own prices: cheap shifts stock, dear pays better.
  • Work it out yourself — the recipe book starts nearly empty and fills in as you go. Pebble teaches you some of it; the rest you find by putting things on the workbench and seeing what happens.
  • Work your way up — better ovens, stills, tools and shopfronts, a daily order board from Pebble's regulars, and a new page of the book every time you master the last one.

Never played anything like it? Pebble walks you through the whole thing in six steps and starts you off with a free basket of ingredients.

No spellbooks, no potions of fireball. Bread, salves, syrups and tisanes — things a real apothecary would recognise, and one very opinionated innkeeper judging your lattice work.

Questions

How do I cancel?
From your PayPal account: Settings › Payments › Automatic payments. You keep the role until the end of the month you've paid for.
What if a payment fails?
You get a few days' grace to sort it out before the role goes. Once a payment goes through, it's back.
I'm not in the Discord yet.
That's fine — subscribe, then join the server and the role is waiting for you.
Can I just give once instead?
Of course. The tip jar takes any amount, once.
What is the workshop, exactly?
